Kampa Dometic Cross Air VW Drive Away Campervan Awning

A classic favourite by Kampa Dometic, the Travel Pod Cross Air returns as part of their successful Travel Pod awning range. This inflatable air awning is designed to attach to campervans and motorhomes with a height of up to 210cm. The Travel Pod Cross Air VW is a freestanding awning, giving you the freedom to drive away from it whilst it remains standing for your return. The front panel of the awning now features an easier to use ‘D’ door that can be half or fully rolled back.

Kampa have used their high quality ‘Feel the Difference’ Weathershield heavy duty material to create the Travel Pod Cross Air VW awning. This material provides the air awning with fantastic durability and boasts a massive 6000mm hydrostatic head for water resistance. All of the seams have also been hot air taped for maximum weatherproofing.

The Travel Pod Cross Air awning VW utilizes Kampa’s famous Air Frame technology making this awning quick and easy to set up. This air awning is inflated via external inflation points using the hand pump provided. Once inflated the Travel Pod Cross Air VW creates a large sturdy living area with excellent headroom thanks to the vertical wall design.

The Travel Pod Cross Air awning VW can be extended by attaching the optional inflatable air annexe with two berth inner tent to either or both sides to create more space for storage or sleeping. The large windows feature blinds with easy store pockets and allow for lots of natural light inside the awning giving a bright and airy feel. This inflatable awning also includes a full clip-in groundsheet which can be removed for your convenience.
