Awning Extensions / Annexes
Awning annexes and extensions are additional structures or attachments that can be used with a caravan or motorhome awning to expand its space and functionality.
1. Annex: An annex is an optional attachment that can be added to a caravan awning. An annex is usually a separate compartment that extends from the main awning, creating additional enclosed space. An annex may have its own entrance, windows, and walls, providing extra privacy and storage options. Annexes can be used as a bedroom, storage area, or even a separate living space.
2. Extension: A caravan awning extension is a component that extends the length or width of the main awning, increasing the overall covered area. These extensions are designed to seamlessly connect to the existing awning, effectively enlarging the available space. An extension can be useful when you need more room for camping furniture and equipment, or simply want to create a larger covered area for your activities.
Both the annex and extension can be made of the same materials as the caravan awning, typically a durable and weather-resistant fabric like polyester or canvas. They are often designed to be easily attached and detached, allowing for flexibility in adapting the caravan setup based on individual needs and preferences.
These accessories, the annex, and the extension, are commonly used by caravan and motorhome owners to maximize their outdoor living space and create a more comfortable camping experience.
