These are proper guyropes for holding down your awning or tent, with the lighting built into the rope itself, so the lines glow and become easy to spot once the sun goes down.

Each set contains four ropes, each 4 metres long and 5 mm thick. They’re made from polyester that holds its shape well and copes with the wear that comes with being pegged out, pulled tight and packed away again. Because the lighting is part of the rope, you don’t need to hang separate lights or clip on reflective tags, one less thing to remember when you pack.

There are eight lighting modes, so you can go for something subtle on a quiet evening or a more noticeable setting when the pitch is busy or the light is poor. They come in orange, green or white, so pick the shade that best suits your set-up or matches the rest of your kit.

Using them is no different from any other guyrope, peg them out or attach them to your anchor points as usual, then switch on the light when you want it.
