Sitting at the top of Vango's Balletto range, the Vango Balletto Pro Air 390 Awning is built for caravanners who want a spacious, dependable awning. Using its AirBeam S.I Pro 2.0 single point inflation system, the caravan awning is pitched in minutes, with multiple AirSpeed valves to make the deflation process just as simple.
Large windows give you an all-round view of your surroundings, with curtains included to be drawn for privacy. Whether it's being used as extra storage, an additional bedroom, or simply somewhere to gather for family meals, the Balletto ProShield Air 390 is designed for it all.
This ProShield version uses a tougher 300D Elements ProShield fabric, giving it a 6,000mm hydrostatic head rating, a step up from the standard Balletto Shield range. The fabric also uses ColourLok technology to resist UV fading over repeated trips.
A PVC mud strip runs along the base of the awning to combat splashback on hard-standing pitches, wiping clean easily to keep the lower section looking fresh and dry. The included draught skirt and two wheel arch covers block cold air from getting in underneath the caravan.
SuperBeams with a larger diameter for additional rigidity, while pre-angled beams curve to maximise internal headroom and improve wind resistance. Included Bracer Beams reinforce the main AirBeam structure for extra strength, but those same bracer beams can instead be used to create a veranda-style opening when extra ventilation is wanted.
Steel rock pegs and adjustable pegging points keep the Balletto Pro Air 390 awning anchored on uneven or harder ground, and the reflective webbing storm straps add extra security in strong winds while staying visible in the dark, to avoid being a tripping hazard. The Balletto Pro Air 390 Caravan Awning can accommodate vehicles between 235cm and 250cm in height.
Flat, easy access doors are designed to suit wheelchairs, pram, and those with reduced mobility, while a 60/40 split side door allows a section to roll back for quick entry without opening the whole panel. Side and front doors are both removable, reducing weight during pitching and allowing the optional extras, Side Mesh Door Panels or an annex to be attached in their place.
Using Diamond Pro windows that are 67% thicker than the standard Diamond Clear option, you’re given a sharper view and improved insulation. Removable zip curtains on these windows give flexible light control or full privacy when needed.
Vango’s SkyTrack II system runs along the interior, with Sky Hooks supplied for attaching lighting or storage accessories, hanging them wherever they're most useful.
It comes packed across two separate carry bags, one for the main structure and a second for the draught skirt, wheel arch covers, pegs, pump, storm straps, and bracer beams, so you can keep everything organised between trips. As a touring awning, it's built to handle regular holiday use, though prolonged static UV exposure should be avoided to get the best lifespan out of the awning fabric.
