This is the mid-height option, with a connection height of 215–255cm, suited to taller vans and motorhomes rather than lower campervan rails.
Pitching relies on Vango's AirBeam technology rather than poles; inflate the beams and the frame takes shape. The Cove III can be pitched in about 10 minutes, with the hand pump doing the job in about 6 minutes. The beams themselves are pre-angled rather than straight, which opens up more usable space inside and gives the structure better resistance to wind than a simple upright frame. For extra security in shifting or gusty conditions, the TBSII tension band system braces the frame at three points and can be tensioned up when the weather turns, or slackened off and stowed away on calmer days.
Once it's up, the connecting tunnel is designed to roll back and toggle out of the way, so you can detach from your van and head off for the day while the awning stays free-standing where you left it.
The pre-attached front canopy extends out from the main structure, creating a covered area to sit out and take in the view without needing to be fully inside. It's built from Sentinel Active 150D fabric, finished with Vango's ColourLok Eco treatment to help the colour hold up under UV exposure over repeated trips.
Inside, Diamond Clear windows let plenty of natural light in, and toggled privacy curtains mean you can switch between an open, airy feel during the day and a more private space when you'd rather close things off. A mesh inner on the front door adds another layer of control: keep it open for ventilation and a breeze, or seal up the solid door fully when needed.
