Built from Sentinel Active 150D fabric with a 4,000mm hydrostatic head rating, the Faros III Air Mid offers reliable waterproofing in wet and windy conditions. ColourLok™ Eco technology helps maintain fabric colour and longevity across regular trips, and the awning is fully rain tested to EN ISO 5912 standards. Steel pegs are included for a secure pitch on harder ground surfaces, and clear visibility guylines improve stability in high winds while reducing tripping hazards around the awning.

Pitching is handled by Vango's AirBeam® system — a pole-free inflation method refined over a decade — using the included ergonomic pump with integrated pressure dial. The TBS® II Tension Band System (patented EP1905927) adds superior stability in strong or changeable winds and stows neatly away when not in use. A PowerFlex fibreglass Bracer Pole is also included to further reinforce the structure in more challenging weather, and ventilation panels help reduce condensation and maintain a comfortable interior.

One of the standout features of this inflatable driveaway awning is the range of vehicle attachment options. A pre-attached 6mm kador, over-vehicle straps, roof bar tabs, and a pole and clamp sleeve give the Faros III Air Mid broad compatibility across its intended vehicle range. A tunnel adjustment strap gathers excess material for a cleaner connection, and the roll-away connecting tunnel makes it straightforward to detach the awning and leave it free-standing while you drive away — a Drive Away Kit is available separately for this purpose.

Diamond Clear windows maximise natural light and give the interior an open, bright feel, while toggled privacy curtains can be quickly adjusted or tucked away when not needed. A mesh front door with fly screen provides ventilation without letting insects in, and easy access doors make entry straightforward for wheelchair users, pram users, and those with reduced mobility. Two doors in the tunnel attachment offer convenient front and rear access to your vehicle.

Inside, the SkyTrack® II system provides a flexible hanging rail for lighting, storage, and accessories, with additional lantern hanging points for convenient lighting setup. A sewn-in groundsheet creates a draught-free, bug-free environment with full perimeter storm protection — a particularly useful feature for extended stays or unsettled weather.
